About the Arkansas OMV written test
The Arkansas knowledge test (often searched as the Arkansas permit test or Arkansas DMV test) checks that new drivers understand road signs, traffic laws and safe driving habits before getting a learner's permit. The questions come from the official Arkansas driver handbook published by the Arkansas Office of Motor Vehicle.
Arkansas applicants study the Arkansas Driver License Study Guide, published by the Arkansas State Police, before taking the knowledge exam at a driver testing location. Teens move from an instruction permit at 14 through learner's and intermediate stages with supervision and night restrictions.
