About the Missouri DOR written test
The Missouri knowledge test (often searched as the Missouri permit test or Missouri DMV test) checks that new drivers understand road signs, traffic laws and safe driving habits before getting a learner's permit. The questions come from the official Missouri driver handbook published by the Missouri Department of Revenue.
Missouri applicants take a 25-question written test based on the Missouri Driver Guide from the Department of Revenue, plus vision and road sign screenings. A score of 80% (20 correct) is required, and teens under 18 follow a three-step graduated license program.
