About the Nebraska DMV written test
The Nebraska knowledge test (often searched as the Nebraska permit test) checks that new drivers understand road signs, traffic laws and safe driving habits before getting a learner's permit. The questions come from the official Nebraska driver handbook published by the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles.
Nebraska issues a Learner's Permit (LPD) at 15 after you pass the vision and written tests, and you must drive with a licensed adult aged 21 or older. Younger drivers then move to a Provisional Operator's Permit with passenger and night limits before a full Class O license.
